Airtel Speed Test – FAQ

Common questions about airtel speed test

What speed should I get on Airtel Xstream Fiber?

On Airtel Xstream Fiber, you should receive approximately 85–95% of your plan speed when connected via ethernet directly to the Airtel router. A 100 Mbps plan should deliver 85–100 Mbps. Speeds below 70% of your plan warrant a complaint to Airtel support.

Why is my Airtel 5G speed showing 4G speeds?

Your phone may be falling back to 4G if you're at the edge of 5G coverage, if your device doesn't support Airtel's 5G bands (n78/n40), or if the 5G option is disabled in your phone's mobile network settings. Enable "5G preferred" mode in your phone's SIM settings.

How to complain about slow Airtel speed?

Open the Airtel Thanks app → My Account → Raise a Complaint → Network Quality. Alternatively, dial 198 from your Airtel number. Airtel's published resolution time for broadband speed issues is 3 working days.
